This year, the CNSA is teaming up with Museums and Libraries in Nova Scotia to offer a joint, virtual conference in place of our respective annual conferences. The Libraries, Archives, Museums Nova Scotia (LAMNS) Conference will take place online from October 21-23, 2021, and is entitled, Moving Forward Together: Collaboration and Innovation to Meet Changing Needs. The panels and presentations will highlight the resilience of our three sectors in dealing with the realities caused by COVID-19 and the use of collaboration and innovation to meet the challenges we face. The Council of Nova Scotia Archives is seeking to complete Phase 1 of a multi-phase online curriculum development and delivery initiative. CNSA is bringing back training for the Provincial Archival Development Program (PADP) on December 9th at the Colchester Historeum. This training is FREE, and registration can be done here.

CNSA is once again hosting a CCI workshop! This year, Care and Handling of Photographic Materials with Greg Hill will be offered at the Nova Scotia Archives, October 2nd-3rd, 2019, 9:00am-4:30pm. Registration is open to CNSA members and non-CNSA members and is $175. Registration is now open here!
