PADP Application-Writing Workshop
It’s that time of year again: PADP ‘season’ is almost upon us! The 2022-23 PADP guidelines will be released in late February, but in the mean time, we want to be sure that our Institutional members have the tools you need to write your applications.
The CNSA is therefore offering a FREE workshop on how to write a successful PADP application! This LIVE session will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, January 18, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The workshop will be recorded, so if you cannot attend, you will be able to watch the recording online. Our Archives Advisor, Sharon Murray, will release info about how to access the video the day after the workshop.
About the workshop: Led by Patti Bannister, Provincial Archivist and former PADP adjudicator, this interactive workshop will be filled with valuable information to help you write a successful PADP funding application! During the two hours, Patti will provide a thorough review of the PADP application process with particular emphasis on the program objectives and how to develop an effective application, including a project plan, timeline, and budget. This will be followed by a question/answer period in which you can ask Patti (and Sharon) questions that are specific to your potential project or repository. Institutional members of the CNSA, or Associate Institutional members interested in becoming Institutional members, are highly encouraged to take this workshop.
Registration: To attend the Zoom meeting, you must register in advance here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwvdOqsqTsqGdapD9M7ZQcVlZX4xqCOBnDD After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
