Members who want to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in archives or manage a small archives can complete the CNSA’s Archival Certificate Program.

To earn the certificate, participants are required to complete all six Core Courses plus their respective assignments:

1. Introduction to Archives

2. Introduction to Preservation for Archives

3. Acquisition, Appraisal, and Accessioning

4. Arrangement and Description

5. Learning RAD with MemoryNS

6. Access, Reference, and Outreach

Prior to each course, participants will receive a pre-course reading, and at the conclusion of each course, participants will be asked to complete an assignment. After completing all six Core Courses and passing all six assignments, participants will receive the CNSA’s Archival Certificate.
