Registration is now open for Introduction to Archives, which will take place online in May, June, and July! We’re offering three sections to ensure that everyone who wants to take this course will have a spot.
This is a great opportunity for members’ summer students to learn the basics of archival practice before taking on archival projects during their term. The course provides an overview of all of the six (or seven) core archival functions: acquisition, accessioning, appraisal, arrangement, description, access/reference, (and outreach – the unofficial core archival function).
