Council of Nova Scotia Archives (CNSA) Grants

Professional Development & Training Travel Bursary 2009 - 2010

To help meet the need for intermediate and advance-level training, the CNSA Education Committee has developed an educational bursary program: the Professional Development and Training Travel Bursary Program.

• Must be an employee of a CNSA member or individual CNSA member in good standing.
• Must be working with archival material in an archives or other organization in Nova Scotia.
• Up to $500 per grant.
• Use for non-CNSA conferences, workshops, institutes, etc.
• The Application form [RTF] and letter of support from employer are due at least 1 month prior to training event.
• Approval based on impact of training on individual and employer.
• Applicants approved for funding must submit a written report (300-600 words) on their training activity. The report may be published on this website.
• Funds are released upon submission of expense receipt(s).
