Professional Development & Training Assistance Bursary

To help meet the need for intermediate and advance-level training, the CNSA Education Committee has developed an educational bursary program: the Professional Development and Training Assistance Bursary Program.

  • Must be an employee of a general or institutional CNSA member in good standing.
  • Must be a CNSA member for at least 6 months prior to applying.
  • Must be working on archival material in an archives or heritage organization/institution in Nova Scotia.
  • Up to $500 per grant.
  • Use for non-CNSA conferences, workshops, institutes, webinars, online courses,etc.
  • The Application form [RTF] and letter of support from employer should be submitted 1 month prior to training event.
  • Approval based on impact of training on individual and employer.
  • Applicants approved for funding must submit a written report (300-600 words) on their training activity. The report may be published on this website.
  • Funds are released upon submission of expense receipt(s).
