Portrait of Thomas Lindsay who was born circa 1820 at Maine. He removed to Antigonish 1854 and took a job with Hiram Hyde and later a Mr. Cunard as manager of a stagecoach line which operated in eastern Nova Scotia. Snow married Mercy Longfellow of Maine in 1851. They had four children- Annie, Clara, Frederic and Harriet. Lindsay retired in 1880 and died in 1884.
