A separate notebook was maintained to track the names of the missing and who should be contacted if they were found. This information was regularly passed on to officials at City Hall. One entry is particularly touching: "Mr. George Drysdale 10 Veith St. has found his 5 year old daughter Marjorie who has been missing - He has hopes that his 3 months daughter (Evelyn) has been rescued from the ruins."
