Alexis MacDonald [1900?] Alexis MacDonald was born 1 January 1840, the daughter of Allan and Mary MacLean MacDonald who emmigrated to Cape Breton from North Uist in 1822. Alexis was raised in a small farmhouse in Stewartdale, which is now located at the Highland Village. She married John Dunlop of Ontario and died 5 May 1923.
